National parks in the development of ecotourism in Azerbaijan

Abstract

This article examines the function of national parks in the improvement of ecological tourism in Azerbaijan, highlighting their contribution to biological diversity conservation, sustainable tourism develop, and regional socio-economic development. The science focuses on key protected region such as Shirvan National Park, Ilisu National Park, and Goygol National Park, explore their ecological, finance, and educational roles within the framework of sustainable improvement. It emphasizes how national parks construct opportunities for eco-friendly tourism operations, including wildlife surveillance, hiking, environmentally oriented education, and cultural heritage exploration, while ensuring the protection of fragile ecosystems.
