Abstract
The theses substantiate the importance of non-formal adult education and identify the key principles of its organization as a factor of continuous development, social activity and professional mobility in modern conditions: voluntariness and internal motivation of learning, orientation to the educational needs and life experience of adults, flexibility and variability of the organization of learning, practical orientation and social significance, accessibility and inclusiveness, social partnership and openness of the educational environment.
