Pedagogical potential of artificial intelligence in modern educational systems

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has profoundly influenced contemporary educational systems, reshaping traditional pedagogical approaches and redefining the roles of teachers and learners. This article explores the pedagogical potential of artificial intelligence as an instrument for enhancing teaching quality, personalizing learning trajectories, and improving educational outcomes. Unlike studies that focus primarily on technical or engineering aspects, this research emphasizes the pedagogical logic of AI integration, viewing AI as a supportive and augmentative tool within educational practice. The article is based on an analytical review of international academic literature and conceptual pedagogical frameworks. It argues that the effective use of AI requires not only technological readiness, but also pedagogical reflection, ethical awareness, and professional competence on the part of educators.
