Abstract

Occupational exposure to excessive vibration and noise continues to be a major yet underestimated public health concern, particularly in industries such as mining, construction, transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing. Prolonged exposure to hand–arm vibration, whole-body vibration, and high-intensity noise may lead to a wide range of disorders including hand–arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), vibration-induced musculoskeletal disorders, noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), tinnitus, balance disturbances, sleep disorders, and cardiovascular complications.
