Abstract
Vibration disease and noise-related disorders are important occupational health problems resulting from prolonged exposure to harmful physical factors in the workplace. These conditions primarily affect workers in industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, transportation, and heavy engineering. Chronic exposure to vibration leads to neurovascular, musculoskeletal, and autonomic nervous system disturbances, while excessive noise exposure causes noise-induced hearing loss and systemic effects on the cardiovascular and nervous systems. This article reviews the sources, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, prevention, and control of vibration disease and noise-related disorders, emphasizing occupational safety and preventive strategies.
