Abstract

The postulate of integration and social inclusion of migrants/refugees/forcibly displaced persons remains an acute issue for discussion in multiple countries around the Globe. However, the modern wars, armed conflicts, political and economical instabilities change the perspective of differences between communities, which are being relocated as a result of aforementioned brutal circumstances. Therefore, we start taking into consideration the fact that the process of integration and social inclusion may be aggravated not just in case of externally displaced persons, by taking into account a different background compared to ordinary migrants; but that the internally displaced persons (IDPs) appear to be another acutely sensible group to processes of territorial adaptation. Thus, as we have found out, IDPs may face the same level of discrimination, underestimation, harassment, as well as become victims of prejudices, biases, social and societal limitations, fears and expectations from the accepting regional community, exactly in the way, as they could face abroad. It may be caused by significant cultural, historical, national, religious differences of various regions within a territory of one State, and/or become a result of political outer manipulation (for example, Russian one) in aim of separating artificially the analyzed regions. In the current article, we are going to analyze special features, which may aggravate process of integration and social inclusion of Internally Displaced Persons, in particular, in Ukraine, as well as ones, which may lead to an acute APD in those persons.
