Abstract

The issue of relocation of migrants, refugees, forcibly displaced persons becomes highly discussed, as we do not question the right to find a “safe harbor”, but we still question the right to find “even better safe harbor” for one’s prosperity, economical, financial, professional and private development. Because of numerous prejudices, biases, limitations, fears and expectations, the phenomenon of migration nomadism is generally socially unaccepted. At the same time, there is no full and appropriate research data on this matter. However, the migration nomadism becomes a part of our everyday reality both in the EU, and in the whole World. It is caused by numerous legal, economical, financial, social and societal, political issues, which are supposed to be treated seriously. Moreover, it may be related to deep psychological traumas, experienced by forcibly displaced individuals. In the current article, we are going to present a phenomenon of “migrational nomadism”, its backgrounds, necessary issues related to it, appropriate definitions, respective statistic data, and perspective social and societal remedies towards optimizing the level of general well-being both of newcomers (including migrational nomads) and local community in any given country.
