Abstract

This article deals with the problem of forming students' cognitive interest in learning activities. Through research in action, the idea is substantiated that learning in collaboration: the organization of group work in the classroom increases the level of cognitive interest among students. The work is devoted to the organization of group work on biology lessons with elements of critical thinking. The significance of this article lies in the fact that the problem of cognitive interest is one of the most urgent. Pedagogical science has proved the need for theoretical development of this problem and its implementation in teaching practice. The need to prepare every growing person for creativity needs no proof. This is where the efforts of teachers should be directed.
