Abstract

Every day a requirement grows in implantation of critical organs of man. The market of transplantology is not able in full to satisfy a requirement in donor organs. The payment in the decision of problem is done by the biomedical engineering by creation of artificial organs. Quite a few artificial organs are complex electromechanical and radioelectronic means. Their corresponding substitute action is related to the consumption of electrical energy. But, if an artificial organ is implanted in the human body, there is an additional task of powering the device. For low-power devices (pacemakers), an acceptable solution has been found by including a galvanic element or long-term battery in the implant. Implants with consumed power from units to tens of watts, such as the "artificial heart" apparatus, receive energy supply through special holes on the surface of the skin. With long-term use of such a device, tissue damage occurs, which causes the risk of infectious diseases, which in turn increases the risk of patient mortality. Therefore, a wireless transdermal method of power supply is promising.
