Comparative analysis of titrimetric and instrumental techniques for acidity determination
Main Article Content
Abstract
Acidity determination plays a fundamental role in various scientific and industrial applications, including environmental monitoring, food and beverage quality control, and pharmaceutical formulation. This study presents a comparative evaluation of titrimetric and instrumental techniques, specifically pH-metry and spectrophotometry, in the assessment of sample acidity. The methods were tested on different aqueous matrices (vinegar, fruit juice, and pharmaceutical solutions), and their precision, accuracy, sensitivity, and ease of implementation were analyzed. The results indicate that while titrimetric methods remain reliable for routine analysis, instrumental methods offer enhanced precision and real-time monitoring capabilities.
