Nanostructured materials and their role in molecular-level chemical reactions
Main Article Content
Abstract
Nanostructured materials have emerged as transformative tools in modern chemistry due to their unique physicochemical properties at the nanoscale. This paper investigates how nanoscale features such as high surface-to-volume ratio, quantum effects, and tunable surface functionalities influence molecular-level chemical reactions. Emphasis is placed on catalytic processes, surface adsorption phenomena, and the role of nanostructures in controlling reaction pathways. Applications in green chemistry, energy conversion, and drug synthesis are also discussed.
