Abstract

This article examines the impact of rapid economic development on environmental indicators in the Nakhchivan region. The main objective is to demonstrate the extent and directions of environmental effects as economic growth intensifies. For the analysis, official statistical indicators and ecological monitoring data were used, applying bivariate linear regression analysis and cointegration tests. The evaluation was conducted using the EViews software package. The results indicate that economic growth has significant effects on the environment, and a set of specific measures should be implemented to mitigate these impacts.
