Sleep deprivation and entrepreneurial decision quality: developing a framework for sustainable productivity among young entrepreneurs
Main Article Content
Abstract
Young entrepreneurs often treat sleep as expendable in the pursuit of startup success, even as open-sourced evidence indicates this pattern undermines decision quality and long-term venture performance. This research highlights sleep patterns as an important moderating element. It emphasizes that decent sleep enhances entrepreneurial behavior by promoting self-awareness, emotional control, and cognitive adaptability. The importance of sleep is especially true for healthy sleeping habits which can give individuals the ability to formulate new ideas, identify opportunities more clearly and adapt to the uncertainties of entrepreneurship.
