The impact of banks' activities on the development of the country's economy

Abstract

The monetary system in Azerbaijan is one of the main mechanisms supporting the development of the country's economy. The banking sector, which is a key component of this system, plays an important role in ensuring economic growth and financial stability. Banks, rather than acting solely as financial intermediaries, are key actors that stimulate the development of various sectors of the economy, attract new investments, support production and trade, and ultimately accelerate overall economic growth. The strengthening and development of the banking sector in Azerbaijan transforms the country's economy into a more stable and diversified structure, allowing it to become more competitive in global markets.
