The model of circular economy and its relevance for Georgia

Abstract
The article analyzes the problems of the traditional linear model of the economy and the consequences of its further application, predetermines the inevitability of the transition to a different model of management - a circular economy. Various interpretations of the definition of a circular economy are considered, its essence and role in the further sustainable development of mankind are outlined. The evolution of the elements of a circular economy from the inception of this concept to the present is presented. The authors found that the circular economy model is a closed-loop economy model based on the similarity of the natural cycle, when the product of one process becomes a resource for the second, when life activity is carried out on the example of mutually beneficial symbiosis.
The relevance and necessity of the transition to a circular economy model in Georgia are shown.
