Heydar Aliyev's policy in the development of education in the early years of our independence

Abstract

The modern independent Republic of Azerbaijan is the work of Heydar Aliyev. The general national leader of our people rendered exceptional services in the development, formation and establishment of our national education at the level of world standards. Great successes in the economic, political and cultural spheres in developed countries, including Azerbaijan, were possible precisely thanks to science and education. After Azerbaijan gained independence, the unparalleled activities and services of our great leader Heydar Aliyev were instrumental in raising the educational, cultural and intellectual level of the people, and in the assimilation of national and human values. Our great leader Heydar Aliyev paid special attention to the development of education from the early years of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He consistently cared for the development of our education. He set a task for educators, pedagogues and teachers to pay special attention to the study of world experience in this field. Even in the early days of our independence, our great leader Heydar Aliyev said: "Azerbaijan, as a state, is trying to use the experience of all countries of the world, especially Western countries, and this experience should be used to improve education."
