The effectiveness of phage therapy in infections caused by staphylococcus aureus: a meta-analysis of clinical studies

Abstract
The aim of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the efficacy of phage therapy for Staphylococcus aureus infections by examining the results of clinical trials as part of the antibiotic resistance improvement. Data from 19 studies that used phages as monotherapy or in combination with antibiotics were included. The data was collected for the period 2005-2025 using analysis of medical records.
