Abstract

This article explores the influence of modifiable lifestyle factors on the risk of stroke among young people in Kazakhstan. A structured questionnaire survey of 120 respondents aged 14–45 years was conducted to assess smoking, alcohol consumption, physical activity, dietary habits, stress level, awareness of stroke risk factors, and personal or family experience with stroke. Results demonstrated that despite high awareness, most respondents continue unhealthy habits. The findings highlight the urgent need for targeted preventive programs and healthy lifestyle promotion for young populations in Kazakhstan.
