Abstract

Wine is a part of culture and a profitable income for different countries of the world. Wine tourism is considered a successful business and an effective means of demonstrating one's own culture in many countries. No foreign traveler has passed through Georgian land without praising and glorifying the goodness of Georgian wine. This amazement is due to the fact that the Georgian vine is the oldest in the world. The vine and wine have acquired special significance for the Georgian nation and have become an integral part of its culture. There are sufficient resources in the homeland of the vine for the development of wine tourism. Georgia can use the existing resource in the form of unique grape varieties for good. The subject of study is the ancient culture of viticulture and winemaking in Georgia, Georgian wine as a tourist product. Let's analyze the prospects for the development of wine and wine tourism, identify problems. It was determined that Georgia has great potential, resources, environment and physical conditions for the development of the wine and wine tourism business. The article discusses scientific papers, studies, and statistical data.
