Abstract
В огляді представлена інформація про сьогочасний стан лісів у світі, як аналіз, узагальнення та систематизація даних наукових публікацій. Викладено масштаби втрат природних світових лісових масивів територій Північної, Південної та Центральної Америки, Азії, Африки, Океанії та Європи, а також хибні практики їх відновлення за допомогою заміни місцевими та інтродукованими породами. Проаналізовано стан лісів України, розглянуто особливості лісовідновлення. Вказано на потребу ретельного розгляду ризиків інтродукції та їх наслідків у перспективі з огляду на світову практику.
