Abstract

The presented analysis of literature data and own observations based on the Ukrainian Scleroma Center is devoted to the dynamics of prevalence, modern features of clinical manifestations and course, classification, future methods of primary chronic specific respiratory tract infection (scleroma), which is etiologically associated with Klebsiella rhinoscleromatis verification. The impact of the introduction of the polymerization chain reaction for the verification of scleroma on the dynamics of its prevalence and clinical course is also predicted.
