Cybersecurity Dimensions of Environmental Rehabilitation in War-Affected Ukrainian Territories: Challenges and Strategic Prospects
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines the intersections between cybersecurity and environmental rehabilitation in post-war Ukraine, identifying key challenges and strategic prospects. The russian military aggression has caused profound deterioration of Ukraine’s land resources, resulting in soil contamination, ecosystem disruption, and the destruction of agricultural and natural landscapes. This study examines the key environmental challenges arising from hostilities and highlights the urgent need for systematic rehabilitation. Special attention is given to priority areas such as demining, remediation of polluted soils, restoration of biodiversity, and the development of sustainable monitoring frameworks. The paper proposes recommendations aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, mobilizing international support, and embedding ecological recovery within Ukraine’s broader strategy of resilience and European integration.
